Dan Bilzerian joins GG Poker Team

Bilzerian might disgust many (including myself- he's a cretin and fraudster) but GG Poker is happy with him.

Hiring him certainly does not seem to have harmed GG Poker commercially. They have in fact recently overtaken pokerstars.com as the site with most cash game volume, so I guess, we have to call them the new industry leader now?

II think people can't quite accept GG Poker hired Bilzerian as an Ambassador precisely because of his crass, chauvinistic behavior simply to attract some of his 'followers'.

I think this is dead on. The reality is social media "influencers" like Dan are a thing, and bring an audience with them. For better or worse poker is still a male dominated game, so there's probably decent overlap between fan bases. It just seem a little hypocritical to have a part-owner like Daniel Negraunu support progressive ideas, but then choose to associate GG's brand with Dan Blizerian.

I did not even know who is that guy until yesterday, i started playing on GG few weeks ago and just noticed the set of smiley faces of some dude with a bushy beard. Hes a big clown for sure.

I thought i saw in some vid with him giving an interview that hes currently broke. Well with that life and zero talents ev1 saw it coming. So we might see his popularity go down soon.

I watched few vids about him on youtube, they tried to come up with some way that he could have had alot of money to not raise much suspecion cause his daddy stolen aton of money. Thats it. Thats how he became a poker pro.

But you know what would be funny. When he loses all his money and with nothing to show on his instagram - loses his popularity too, and GG says him bye-bye.

His daddy might be smart to come up with some ways to make more money, but Dan is much more talented at losing money for sure.

Good grief. GG Poker is actually producing such laughable guff on Bilzerian's behalf?

As I said from the outset, they knew precisely what they were getting hiring him as an ambassador and just keep underlining the fact they do not care who is offended. GG seems indifferent about how patronizing and insulting they are being to their own clients.

Everyone knows Bilzerian is a complete fraud.
