Over the last couple of years, you may have read about the Bad Beat Jackpots won at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Quebec, canada. To change things up a bit, another Bad Beat Jackpot has been won at the Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec! The jackpot was worth $2.5 million CAD and was split between 46 players in the room. The bad beat happened during a $1/3 game where quad ten lost to a straight flush against a player holding Q9 of clubs. Live poker is expected to return to Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas early May.

Is this amount divided by all the players who are playing at the house at the time of the play?

The text below is found in the linked article. I hope this answers your question.

"The “losing” player won CAD $1,005,421 (USD $726,000), while the player with the straight flush got CAD $502,711 (USD $363,000). The players at the table all won CAD $84,000 (USD $60,000), and the other 38 players in the room took home CAD $13,000 (USD $9,400) a piece."

Interesting, I had the same thing happen to me a few years back at a casino in Surrey BC, the game was 1/3 no limit and the hands were the same as your example, my table share was $12,900..Not bad for a $3 entry
