All humans make mistakes. But the accountability and transparency (or lack of it) afterwards define your true nature. Just IMO

Crazy, I have not seen one like that on a final table. Seen similar mistakes in local live games but usually someone notices immediately and speaks up.

I just have no words !!! Yes, I understand everything, the dealer is not a robot and can make a mistake. But where was the player whose fate depended on this hand!!! Why he didn't pay attention to it, it's primarily his mistake, he didn't fight in this tournament until the end!!! And just do it seems to me that it was the losing player who misled everyone present, because immediately after he saw the river, he stood up and was the first to congratulate his opponent on his victory !!!

An interesting case. I hope that these are exceptional cases at such tournaments. No one is immune from children's mistakes, even superprofessionals.

Crazy hand. Surely one of the players noticed but didnt speak up for the pay jump. Terrible dealer, but really the player should have paid more attention and read the board himself.

Wow, never seen that before. It can be confusing when the board is double paired, and in Omaha including hi lo players can misread but for everyone to not notice. A sad tale.

Ok lets say the dealer is just being the dealer and the player doesn't know.. What about everyone else on the table ? I think someone said to split but still nothing happened. Its sad

I really do not like the response message from the casino either (can be found here https://www.cardschat.com/news/mist...ayer-casino-quickly-kills-livestreams-115293/ )

First of all, this is a live stream event. Meaning that there is a production crew involved one that has direct way to communicate with the dealer via an ear piece (when the cards are not showing at the cards reader, when to pause/resume the card dealing for dramatic effect in all ins, etc.).

So naming the dealer and mentioning her record, spending so much of the message on her seems unfair to her. Bringing too large of a spotlight on her shoulders when there should have been a floor manager right beside her overlooking the final table, entire production crew and so on. As an ex poker dealer it rubs me the wrong way. She has a boss. The floor manager. Where is he/she in this whole mess.

Then mentioning the players responsibility, again deflecting the responsibility from the manager (the boss of this event) and the TV production.
Response to this mistake, with the stream cutting and this message rivals the mistake it self.

Anyway, I just noticed this is old news after writing this all down. I'll keep my comment though, didn't like the handling of this situation.

Unfortunate mistake, which could have been corrected on the spot if it was noticed by the TD or dealer, but obviously they missed it as well. but it does stipulate in the rules that players are responsible for their own cards and run-outs on the board, if a player does not use a card guard to keep his cards safe and the dealer mucks his cards by accident or mis-reads the run-out it is up to the players involved to point out the mistake.

The interesting thing about the situation is nobody realize this second pair and Ace high. At first the dealer but also one ot the including players. Mostly the men which went out. He automatically congratz his opponent so everybody believe and nobody asking the question is anything right. I think its a great mistake from the player which went out. He has to do everything to stay in the game and to this task it includes to save chips and control that nobody makes a mistakes which costs him chips.

I think this player did. He has that "wait...isn't that a split pot?" confused look.

Well, if you're holding J10 at this stage in the hand you think you'd be rooting for your 10 or the board to pair, other than the ace, obv. Bettor beware... 🧐

Wow. It is really weird that no one noticed in an event like that.
