Ya, I'm not a fan of bitcoin...just another bubble waiting to burst. I dont play on ACR enough that I have needed a withdrawal, but might have to do the bitcoin if no other way. Checks are no good anymore either. Sucks that it is so difficult to withdrawal, when they take your money so quickly. I am waiting on 888 for deposit issue, but same..wait wait wait
Call it a bubble all you want. Bitcoin and specifically Bitcoin cash is easy and simple to use and you can convert and cash out quickly through coinbase .

Keep chasing those invalid checks and getting the run around while New Money leaves you in the past. Bitcoin is dead for the 1millionth time this week in this thread. You heard it here first! Lol OK

To the first poster I wonder what country you are located in? Is the ACR cheque drawn on a USA account or some other location? Woder if thats part of the problem. I don't have Bitcoin so if I was in the same situation as you I would likely ask for a cheque.

It's a US account

Have you tried talking the the ACR rep here on CardsChat, they are usually good at handling these sort of things.

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/official-acr-thread-217550/

Make sure you are polite if you do contact them, the ACR rep has helped many members with problems like this in the past, we don't want them to say FU to us and leave.

Good luck.

:top:

I tried to contact and nothing. It's now been 2 weeks since the "72 hr window"
I call them every day and get the same we're just waiting to hear back from the billing department. In which "we have no way of contacting them other than pushing a button requesting a response" ........which obviously never comes.

If your problem do not get resolved then do you have any regulator to approach or any legal option?

in which poker room you had this problem since in pokerstar I already made two withdrawals and I had no problem just that the transactions take more than 72 hours as they say.
Now that it hurts me to suffer, as personal advice I would recommend opening a savings account to request bank transfers so you only have to pay the tax according to the law as in my case, in my country there is a transaction tax for each thousand equivalent to 3% of this amount in this modality, be sure that you will not have this type of inconvenience since you have to take into account that not all countries accept checks from poker sites or make it very bureaucratic to be able to collect said checks

Hi.
I also need a bitcoin wallet, but so far, I do not know how to create one properly. Maybe one of the more experienced players will recommend something to me?

What works best is to set up a Blockchain.com account. You get a Blockchain link address to send the withdrawal the Bitcoin (BTC) to. Go to ACR withdraw funds and select Bitcoin as withdrawal method and enter the Blockchain link. After the withdrawal is processed ACR should send an email saying the withdrawal has been processed. Go to Blockchain and you'll see the BTC.

I have a Coinbase.com account that I transfer the BTC to. Works the same where you enter a Coinbase link and Blockchain transfers to my Coinbase account. From there I sell the BTC into US currency and transfer it to my bank account or paypal account.

Sounds complicated, there's a learning curve involved but after you do it 3 or times you get the hang of it.

Thank you for your advice. I understood almost everything, but I have yet to figure out how it will work in my country.

Start a coinbase account. Cash out in Bitcoin Cash NOT Bitcoin. If they offer use Litecoin.

Get verified with coinbase and jump through the AML/KYC hoops. Get verified includes sending pics of license and all that.

Using crypto is simple. To withdraw put your coinbase wallet or whatever wallet address you use in the address line.

Or you can scan the QR code and it populates automatically.

It's nearly instant with Litecoin and BCH(Bitcoin Cash) . When the BCH or LTC hits your account. Sell it IMMEDIATELY for USD and send it to your Bank Account.

The reason why you sell it immediately is so you don't gain profit. That involves having to pay taxes on gains.

If you sell it the minute you get it for no profit, there is no profit to show or loss. Send to your bank account . If coinbase sends you a tax invoice pay it gladly.... Taxes are pretty much unavoidable.

You can use Gemini too. But I like Coinbase. It's easy and simple especially for beginners.

Last note. Bitcoin (BTC ) costs too damn much and takes too long to send . Sometimes seconds, sometimes hours. And fees can be from pennies , to a few hundred dollars depending on the network congestion.

This is why Litecoin is so popular. Pennies to send. Almost instant. Takes about 3 min for most , and there are many many merchants online who will gladly accept it as payment.

Whatever you do, make sure you send the correct crypto to the correct wallet . If you send Bitcoin to a Litecoin address you could lose it forever. Make double sure before you click send. Especially your first few times using it.

First time trying to withdraw funds has been a nightmare. Trying to pull out $500+, I didn't use bitcoin and requested a check. Took about 3 weeks, but they refused to ever give me the tracking info despite saying they had it. Because if it's magically lost, it's $250 fee on you. Anyways check came, went to 3 banks all declared it invalid. Contacted customer support who basically demand I have to go to a wal-mart or 7eleven....the f***?

Fine, fine whatever. Went to a walmart, nope same thing. ACR continued to resist voiding the check and basically stated it was my fault and kept stating that the check was good (which is obviously wasnt)

Finally freaked out enough and had a higher up contact me, allowing me to void the check. Guy was nice and I was appreciative. They stated 12-72 hours on the phone. That was a week ago, i've cotinued to contact them and this is as far as I get

"The usual time frame is 72 hours but there has been no update yet, we will need to wait for the department in charge to give us an answer, since they are the ones who give the resolution."

So basically...no one there knows what the hell is going on. Good times.... Obviously I'll just use bitcoin wherever I move to.

WOW this is surprising. ACR is the only site that as a U.S. player I never had an issue with, my first 2 withdrawals were paper check and I received the check within 7 days, the check is drawn on a bank from outside the U.S. for obvious reasons, my bank takes them and charges me $6.95 to cash. My last withdrawal was with bitcoin and 30 hours later PAID.

I am sorry that you had issues, I know ACR has problems but 1 thing they have always done was pay me, My winrate would probably be higher without the "bots" but I have to weigh that against the sites that just refuse to allow withdrawals

You have to be precise and careful with poker checks.

Deposit to your bank account. Do not mention gambling at all.

How significant is the difference between withdrawing through BTC, BHC or LTC in terms of speed?

Is this difference in speed valid throughout all poker websites that offer crypto withdrawals, or specifically with ACR?

Mine was painless. But it was through bitcoin though. I had problems with ACR with my card but changed to bitcoin and from there smooth sailing.

Atomic wallet

Hi.
I also need a bitcoin wallet, but so far, I do not know how to create one properly. Maybe one of the more experienced players will recommend something to me?

I have tested right now a new wallet - ATOMIC (https://atomicwallet.io/) and everything works fine. I trade cryptocurrency in the Bitstamp. I have sent Ethereum from Bitstamp to my Atomic wallet, changed it inside the wallet to Litecoin and made a deposit in Litecoins to BetOnline. Everything worked perfectly within minutes.

To buy crypto inside the Atomic wallet is expensive (10USD fee) so I prefer to use Bitstamp instead. Although it is possible to send crypto from Bitstamp directly to the poker site, I would never do so. First I withdraw into my private wallet and from there I make the deposit to poker site.

Ive read somewhere that its not that their checks are bad but that banking regulations have made them virtually uncashable as it is somehow known they are tied to online gaming.

My beef is they are aware of this but do they tell you where you can cash it?

Im coming to the point where I might consider a withdrawal. I appreciate posts like this. You may have a bad taste in your mouth from the check situation - which is understandable. I just think that they're trying to get with the times as well as maybe be able to dodge some hoops. If its BTC they pay, take it. Seems to work okay for everyone else.

I have made 2 withdrawals from acr by check with no problems. Took about 3 weeks to get the checks. My bank did verify the checks when I deposited them cause they were issued from a Canadian bank.

How do you cash out by check?

anyone knows how long will take payout from ACR to neteller?
I do not see the option of neteller withdrawing more advance cryptocurrency accepting already in many exchange houses I would advise to withdraw by bitcoin is faster.

Mine was painless. But it was through bitcoin though. I had problems with ACR with my card but changed to bitcoin and from there smooth sailing.
much better bitcoin than using cards is safer as it comes from online sites ..

I also noticed the difficulty of removing but submitting is easy.
It would be nice if there was a change in that, after all it should be the same level of sending and withdrawing, so that the service is equal.

Uh oh

Hmm that's not good. Why did you opt for the check as opposed to bank transfer? Is it safer? Has anyone else had issues?
