I think $20 is not enough to play comfortably, especially in the beginning. If you've earned that $20 through freerolls, it hurts even more if you suddenly lose, say, $2.20 in three tournaments in a row, which can certainly happen. Personally, I would go as far as to only play freerolls until I have at least $50, and occasionally try Sit & Gos depending on how good I am at them. In the end, it's all about how well you perform in the long run, and that's why having a larger bankroll is helpful.

You can invest your freeroll winnings in a valuable tournament with a large prize pool

If you can find 10 cent or 25 cent tournaments, that's probably the best thing you can do for your bankroll!

spin and go or sit and go. But the better way is to improve your bankroll with freerolls.

I already have 4.5 dollars in one room, and 1.5 dollars on pokerstars, I believe that I will increase my bankroll, up to 10-20 dollars, but what to do next. cash games are leveled instantly, I'm just not interested in playing them, and besides, I don't know how. maybe it's a spinendgo/sitendgo, or an MTT with a mini buy-in for 200-300 people, what would be more profitable in your opinion?
If you're a begginer the best way to start is the SNG

For me.

Sit & Goes are probably the way to go. I would study as much as you can about this format.

Then cash, it really is a great way to make money, although a larger bankroll would be needed. It can be very volatile and the downswings can hurt, which is why bankroll management is essential.

MTT, is my least favourite choice. We all love to play tournaments. But the reality, unless you make final tables on a consistent basis, then the effort is not worth it. Grinding for min cashes is a losing play in the long run & it is just a slow way to eat away at that bankroll.

if you don't win a lot of money in free tournaments, just play small tournaments with a small entrance and try to raise money there if you manage to win there, then go to tournaments at a higher price, and so on every time you manage to win at these limits
