Is it common that most of the guys in the lower Buy-Ins playing very recklessly? I mean, every type of poker player is legit of course but it's kinda annoying and breaking the fun and momentum from the very beginning of a tournament.

I can imagine that from $10 Buy-Ins and upwards, almost every player is more composed and doesn't risk that much.

Let me know your experiences on that topic! :)

I don't play online a lot, but it seems to me the lower the buy in, the more they just play for fun. Some players will shove any 2, there's no strategy. So it's annoying when your aces get cracked by 2 -3 not suited or some random not suited 5 gaper hand. As for the free rolls, they are really a shoving festival.

I think players betting all in are very annoying and there are tournaments where a player plays all in every round is impractical. Games with low buy-in become bingo.

If you have a good hand it is more common to go all-in, I have played with higher buy-ins and I find several players going all-in

At low buy-ins (like $1–$10), a lot of players are recreational. They often play very loosely, make big bluffs with no real plan, or shove all-in with weak hands. It can feel chaotic and frustrating if you’re used to more structured play, because it breaks your rhythm and can make the early stages of a tournament seem random.

Once you move up to higher buy-ins, most players tend to be more disciplined. They understand pot odds, position, and hand ranges better, so the games feel more “orderly” and strategic. You still get the occasional wild play, but it’s less frequent, and the momentum of the table is easier to maintain.

I agree this is annoting but have you considered that these player might feel like this is not worth turning their 1$ buy in into1.80 for finishing last in the money for the time invested ? i do think they might want to gamble and try to win the whole thing for the 200 $ as it is more worth , just my opinion
