Hey. A while ago, I played spin@go for $30 on poker stars and was a profitable player. What kind of results can I get on GG Poker and WPT spin@go at $10 stakes now? Is it even worth returning to spin@go? Thanks for your help.

This question is very hard to answer and depends heavily on the volume u are willing to play.

I play Spin & Go’s at low stakes too, and I also enjoy this format.
A lot of players hate on Spin & Go’s, saying they’re killing real poker,
but I don’t really agree with that.
As for your question — if you’re saying you’re profitable in them, then why change anything?
Keep it going and good luck to you!

It all depends on what prize you spin and how you play and who you play and whether you hit the cards, Although there is a lot of play in spins you do have to hit cards especially if your opponent is just smashing all in every hand. I like the 6 man games on gg, and the max on stats though I wouldn’t play higher stakes lol

Very few people are profitable in the long term in Spin & Go's.

The variance is HUGE, and the ROI is low.

You should never play this format if you want to make money, the rake is absurdly high.

Hi,
It depends on your bankroll and the time you have, high volume means high chances of winning, I didn't really have either 🤣🤣🤣

I play regular spin and go tournaments and am not profitable. I think bingo players are often too lucky.

I only play it in the smaller buy in just to have some fun when I don't have time to play a better game. They are based more in luck than in skill and very difficult to be profitable. Almost all he time there is a 33% rake, what is insane.

You can multiply your balance considerably, but you can also lose everything. In my experience, Spin & Go aren't much help if you want to get into professional poker.
Answering your question, I have multiplied my balance up to X80 just by playing spin&go at GGPoker

I have never been able to profit from these tournaments, and I cannot imagine a player who has actually made money from them. For me, these tournaments are like a lottery, where skill and experience play a secondary role.

That's true, and this is why some professional players says that we need to take a poker site with a really good rakeback system to give us money back from the large volume we can do by playing this modality...

I also heard about the "pools"; I don't know exactly how it works, but looks like some players decide to participate in it to reduce the variance together: if your EV is bigger than your actual result, you will be paid until complete the difference, but if your EV is smaller than your actual result, you will pay the pool to help other players to beat their unfair results.

Yes, some teams and groups have stables of players that they give coaching to, and also give them charts, special HUDs, and other RTA. It would not surprise me if they also collude when they get at the same table.

Players in the team can have certain agreements that protect them from variance as long as they win over a longer period of time.

I think it is a form of collaboration that can be called, if not cheating so at least unfair to the recreational player that isn't aware of this.

I heard that GG poker spin and gos was full with Regs/Bots as it is an easy format to solve so i wouldn’t play spins here if i was you i would choose a more niche fishy site for those kind of supersolved formats

Earnings in Spin & Go tournaments vary greatly and depend on many factors such as the buy-in, the skill level of the player, the number of tables played and luck.

I generally just lost at it. You need a pretty big bankroll to be able to play a lot and possibly be profitable. I got a lot of bedbeats because of the variation. You have to play actively which is a big risk.

I remember someone wrote that for spins you need at least 300 Bi because of the high variance of the discipline, in my humble opinion, approaching spins as a way to earn money is a bad idea

I think it's rare that GG puts them at the same table. I tried playing with a free downloadable chart, I think I found it on Youtube, but it didn't make me profitable. You simply don't have time to wait for good hands and with so few chips you can't play according to the chart unless you double up early in the game. The charts sometimes say 2-3x reraise for certain hands which you end up having to fold and you're almost at 0 chips. It's better to play smart, but variance kills you there too.
