I've personally had it happen to me several times: I've won a freeroll or a $2 tournament, gotten excited, and then within a few days lost my entire bankroll again. I'd love some advice from the community.

Implement bankroll management. Simple system is to never buy into a MTT for more than 1% of the money sitting in your poker account. So if you want to play $2 tournaments, you must have at least $200 in the account. And so on and so forth.

This is actually the hardest part of it all, bankroll management. As a hobby player, you win a big one when everything is going well, but then you have a streak, but all it takes is one bad day when everything is the opposite of that day. At that time, if you get irritated and get stuck, every winnings can lose. That's why you need to determine how much of a loss you will have to stop playing for the day.
