My favorite hand is the one that is stronger than the others on the board. If we're talking about pre-flop, I'm quite conventional: I'm happy with any monster hand. I'm also happy with suits middle cards (for example, “QJ”) if I'm in a strong position at the table.

I just can't understand it. If you have a choice and you choose your favourite cards, why is it A8.

Certainly not, it doesn't make any difference whether or not to have a favorite hand, it's just part of the game. When A8 comes, for example, I tend to play that hand more often, but it doesn't mean that I give up AA or any other strong hand...
