On everyone, I don't know for sure. There are sites where this information is available, and there are sites where I have not seen such information. For example, I saw such information on pokerstars and on Replay, but I did not see such monitoring on, for example, 888.

Some countries dont allow their residents to play against people living in other countries. And then to comply with this, sites make geo-fenced sites. PokerStars Europe is for players in france, Spain and portugal, as far as I know. They were allowed to merge those player pool for higher volume.

I think you misinterpreted the table a little.

The average and peak numbers are only relating to cash tables.

The online amount is current but no information on total average or peak amounts.

So there were 55k online at a given time, which may be possible for peak hours, I guess.

Also players online presumably just mean, someone is logged into the client. It does not say anything about, which games, these people play, if any. Some might be playing blackjack in the casino, and others might be watching a replay or be taking a long break without logging out. So those numbers dont really mean a lot, and they are difficult to compare across sites.

Sites usually always show how many players are logged in. The two biggest today are: GGpoker in first place, and second comes pokerstars being in number of players.
