Is a good gaming chair important for working as a poker pro?

I try to play lying down. But that's if I have only one table left. If I play more than one, I play sitting in a chair. My back hurts sometimes, but that's not because of the chair, it's because of my age and the not-so-healthy lifestyle I lead

Yes , a good comfortable chair is very important in especially in long sessions .
It's like a comfortable mattress where we stay 1/3 of our life

One thing I've noticed about professional gamers' streams is that they all use gaming chairs. I haven't had the chance to use one, but they're certainly very comfortable.

Absolutely, gotta be comfortable if you're playing long sessions. If you're playing short sessions it probably doesn't matter as much

Also recommend a electric controlled sit/ standing desk. Really great to stand for a bit when in an 8 hours session.
