I think that this year there will be just over 11,000 people and they will reach 100 million in prizes.

I think it'll hit just over the record, around 10,200 players, with about a $12.5M prize pool.

Will the 2024 WSOP Main Event surpass a prize pool of $100 Million this year?
I guess that more players would be attracted to the x2 mini cash.
I guess 12134 players, for a $112.85M prize pool

Oops. Not a $12.5M prize pool... $12.5M for 1st, I meant.

I think this year the record will be broken as interest in these games is growing. I think there will be 11,500 participants or so

I think it will be a down year this year as everyone had hoped it would be the year of the 10K players. I think the main event will only have 9545 for a prize pool of $88,768,500 with 1st players just off $11,000,000.00.

I really hope I am wrong and there are over 12000 players. That would be amazing.

I believe that it will exceed 10 million registered this year and I believe that the prize will exceed 120 million... the first of which will win more than 15 million!
I'd bet against this & I'd even give you 2million leeway

I would guess at 9,888 entries, for a total value of $98 million.🤔👍

I'm still undecided whether I'll participate or not, it will all depend on my winnings in the freerolls.🤪😁🤣

My guess for 2024 is 10,753 entries with a prize pool of $100,002,900. I think a new record will be set!

It would be nice to break the 100 million barrier, I would bet that 101 million and about 10,900 players will gather. I said 101 million like those 101 dalmatians from the animated film produced by Walt Disney.. 😁😍🐶 1️⃣0️⃣1️⃣

My guess 10,600 entries with 112.5 million for the prize pool jump in the water is FINE!!!!!!

9,649 entrants.
Total prizepool $89,735,700
1st place: $11,625,301.20
Wow! Not a bad guess.

I guessed 9,649 & currently on the wsop site it says 9,694

How much can we win in this guessing competition? ;)

sort of silly to still be able to guess as several days have passed but 10,000 total entries seems a minimum . i dont think the prize pool will pass $10 million though

They went with a smaller 1st place prize in favor of more payouts it looks like. 1st place last year was $12.1M

Let's hope that it increases back up next year, so one of us don't feel short changed if we win it #CC4thewin

NEW QUESTION: Who will WIN the 2024 WSOP Main Event?

An unknown player will win it, or at least a lesser known player. Maybe an amateur this year.

I predict the winner will be Joe Cada. Always gracious and friendly every time I have talked to him.

One more prediction, I think next year will be even higher. Poker was on the verge of another boom in 2019-2020, until the pandemic hit. online poker and content creation about poker helped keep that poker boom a possibility during the pandemic, though it seemed like it was on "pause." I believe 2023-2024, poker is back on the rise, especially with WSOP records being broken. And it could get a nice boost in 2025, like it was looking to happen in 2021 before the pandemic, but maybe not quite as much of a boom if the pandemic never happened. I think if a woman were to make the Final Table, that would help the potential boom as well.

My prediction is that the unknown player will win. However, this will not be an amateur, a regular player who has been playing poker for years.
