1) I think, he is both good and bad for poker. He is good, because he is entertaining, and this make more people watch for instance the wsop main event and perhaps get interested in poker. But he is bad, because nobody in their right mind wants to actually play against someone, who needlessly tank every hand and constantly engage in speech play.
2) I dont think, he was unfairly treated, but I think, it would be better, if they just introduced a general system like a 30 second clock and some time chips. In that way it would be even for everybody and fair. For me as an online player it is really weird, that there are still live tournaments, where players can tank for as long, as they want, unless someone call a clock on them.
