In my opinion, online poker is more similar to bingo. Live poker is more similar to poker and therefore more complex. The dynamics of online poker make it truly different from live poker, and in my understanding, these are two different types of poker.Live poker feels so different compared to online. Do you think live players generally make bigger mistakes because the pace is slower and they play fewer hands?

I think the opposite is true. Live players tend to make fewer and smaller mistakes. Live play is more strategic. There's less volume, and players aren't as risk-averse. In a more calculated game, mistakes are fewer and less frequent.Live poker feels so different compared to online. I love online poker, live poker is not my genre.
There's no rules - every player is different, we all makes mistakes, doesn't matter is live or online game! 🙂Live poker feels so different compared to online. Do you think live players generally make bigger mistakes because the pace is slower and they play fewer hands?
Actually the reverse. I feel online induces bigger mistakes because its faster & more distractions. That's just me.Do you think live players generally make bigger mistakes because the pace is slower and they play fewer hands?
It all depends up on the player finally. However, live poker comes with an advantage to read the opponents well while online games can be played with the assistance of tools such HUD.Live poker feels so different compared to online. This is quite the claim. Do you have proof for this statement that this happens or happened in the past?Online poker is totally different primarily that the deck of playing cards is random in that the RNG distributes based on a software that is strictly in relation to the cards you receive, a flop often under the question mark! Programmers are the only ones who know what conditions they imposed on that software!!! If you have played on several poker platforms you may notice a difference in the distribution of cards that appear on the flop depending on the players who play different hands.I live poker is something else and can be credited with playing correctly and professional players making mistakes as a result of at least double the time from one hand to the next, thus becoming unbought and sometimes losing Strictly necessary gameplay in this game.
Treat online as practice for live is also what my coach told meI think you should view online as practice for live. A lot of people have questions about the ''randomness" of the RNG generating card distribution ( online, that is). And of course online rooms can have house bots and not tell you about it. Live, well, at least you see the cards being shuffled and distributed to players.
If you want to make significant money in cash games then yes. Online high stakes cash games are tough and slowly but surely in decline for many years. So the potential profit is sort of capped online, but on the other hand there is no denying, that online is far more convenient. So it depends on your goals and situation. There are also a lot of people, who dont have access to good live games anywhere near the place, they live.I think you should view online as practice for live.
Yes and all of this is just nonsense and certainly not a good reason to choose live games over online games.A lot of people have questions about the ''randomness" of the RNG generating card distribution ( online, that is). And of course online rooms can have house bots and not tell you about it.
Cheating also happen in live poker. Have you heard about Mike Postle for instance?Live, well, at least you see the cards being shuffled and distributed to players.
