In live tournaments, players talk a lot and this hindered me in making some decisions in important hands.

I rarely play live tournaments and I have a bit of difficulty calculating my chips in blinds since I play in blinds online, this doesn't hurt after all it's just a little time consuming but I can handle it.

Transitioning from online to live tournaments can indeed present some challenges. The chatter at live tables can be distracting, and converting your chip stack to blinds might take some practice. Some ppl will like, some dont... These are common adjustments that become easier with experience... :D

I've never played a tournament live, probably the first time, I'm going to get all drenched kkkkk 🙄

i played only once here in my country live tournament. it was a 100$ buy in, I did 3 rebuys and an addon so i spent 400 and that only to go all in prefloop with kings and lose it all against AK. unfortunatly i went all in against the chipleader, i was 3rd chipleader and they were still 15 players left, only 9 got paied in the final table. first place took 2600 and i found it a totally waste of time by playing all those hours, too many recreational players, i'd preffer play cash games in my country than tourneys.

Playing Live League games every week at my local pub, I was never concerned with the Prize money as By law you could only (officially) play for a £100 prize pool maximum, so paying out only the top 3 places, The winner could walk away with £50 or £60, but the other places were of course Limited to split the remainder.
I was always more concerned with the Points you could win in the League, because at the end of a 13 week season the top 3 players qualified to play in a Regional Final, and in that game there were cash Prizes for the top 10 players with the Winner, winning a Trip to Las Vegas to play in a £20,000 Tournament closed to the general public, and only open to League players who qualified.
It was a brilliant introduction into Live Tournaments because they were basically a Freeroll, the only money you bought in for was the weekly £5. at the pub. But from the experience I gained, I did venture into other Live Tournaments in Various casinos. I have played in a few but unfortunately the nearest is around 80 miles away so travelling was a big factor, but I have been to Liverpool, Manchester, and Coventry all 100 miles plus away from me.
In the Pub every week the Guys used to start their own Cash game, after they lost in the weekly Tournament and that was where the money was, I often joined in after finishing on the Final Table and many a time walked away with £100 plus from the Cash game.

If the extra noise bothers you - wear noise cancelling headphones or listen to some tunes.

I would rather have the information than not though.

I´ve only played in one live tournament and went all-in on accident and lost so i´m not the best to give advice on that matter.

I like the background hum and the sounds of many chips in a large live tournament. I find it exciting. My problem with live poker of any kind is I suffer from essential tremors meaning my hands shake when I'm relaxed and almost impossible to stack chips if i'm nervous or excited. It's a huge tell! The only way to suppress them is with medication which does not always work or with a lot of booze!

Glad to see you making the decision to play live. Remember, at one time that's all there was. But I digress. Yeah, they're quite chatty in the rooms I play at, as well, and that's fine w/me. The more distractions for them the better, imo.
Also, I think there's a lot more math involved for live players since, as you hinted, online rooms do the math for you.
