playing at lexington card club, in lexington ky, stakes are five on the button basically five /five, bought in for like 255 left with 291, as here you have to pay for your seat time as kentucky doesent have legal games for rake, so this is a unraked game besides promotion for high hand, and this game plays huge and its r.o.e , after 2 hours my seat time was up and i just decided to leave with 291, am i nit? lmao i was ready to call it just couldnt find my spots to get it in, they were potting everything pre flop

Not nitty at all. If the game’s playing huge and everyone’s potting pre, there’s nothing wrong with booking a small win when you’re not finding good spots. Better to leave even or up than force it and dump your stack.

Greetings King,
to play against aggressive poker opponents, adopt an adjusted strategy focusing on positional play, tight starting hand selection and using slow playing and well-timed counter-aggression like 3-betting and check-raising. You must adapt your own style to their tendencies, recognizing when to attack weakness and when to tighten up to minimize losses against their pressure.

Hopefully could help a bit,
Natox

you feel uncomfortable with the gambling style and leave, that's completely normal. There's no sign of nit, but honestly many players would love such tables because it's easier to max value against opponents

That's crazy and it's worth playing that way. That was cash, right?

i wish we paid seat time instead of rake in California . all the casinos here ( Native American and the other big card clubs ) drop 5, 6 ,7 bucks every pot . the one i often play in takes $5 even if there is only $10 total in the pot .! all the chips basically disappear down the slot eventually . $1/2 , 1/3/, 2/3 no limit holdem ring games are almost unbeatable long term . you can do better percentage wise playing $5/10 no limit, but the regulars are mostly far better players , of course .
