Tricking your opponents while running good is a skill that maximises pot winnings....don't bother trying if your running bad as you'll lose.. but that's luck for you.. it rules the game.
My favourite is to limp in with a weak ace and if your opponent/s just calls and a ace hits the flop, min bet quickly, if they get a piece of the flop that isn't the ace they will never believe you have a ace and will call or raise you. (and some usually call even if they miss because of the non believer in them)I did this last night when a king came with an ace, my opponent who had a weak king was a non believer when I quickly betted. When my bet was called I paused.. then over bet the turn.. it got called. I went all in super quickly on the river and opponent called..took all their healthy stack. This worked because I played exactly how someone inexperienced who pretends to have it but doesn't,timing is everything. If I had raised the weak ace pre flop as many donkies do, would I of extracted as much as all thier chips? Doubt it.
