I think that's a great result. If you have more than 20%, that's definitely cool. Unfortunately, I don't play that well.

It does not matter, how often you cash. What matter is ROI (Return Of Investment). If you bought in for a total of $1.000 and cashed for $800, then your ROI is -20%. If you bought in for a total of $1.000 and cashed for $1.200, then your ROI is +20%.

This and $/hr are much better stats to evaluate your play.

Agree. If you are playing for profit, there is no point in playing $0,55 MTTs with a 40% ROI, if you could spend your time playing $5.5 MTTs with a 20% ROI, and have enough bankroll for the latter.

Hey! Great question — and yes, 20–24% ITM (in the money) in MTTs is actually quite solid, especially if you're consistently deep-running and not min-cashing too often.

But here's the key:

ITM% alone doesn’t tell the full story — what really matters in MTTs is profitability, meaning how often you’re not just cashing, but making final tables and big scores to offset all the non-cashing tournaments.

For example:

A player with 18% ITM but multiple top 3 finishes might have a better ROI than someone with 25% ITM who only min-cashes.

That 20–24% range shows you’re playing well and surviving into the money, which is a great base to build on.

If you're hitting those numbers and working on ICM, final table play, and deep-stack decisions, you’re definitely on the right track!
