Call it superstition but i hate that hand so much. Like, i have an active dislike for it. It's impossible i'm the only one right?

I was just in a CC tournament at GGPoker and the JJ went all in against QQ. JJ hit a set and won. QQ was out.
I went all in with AJ was called by 10 7. The 10 7 hit a 7 and I was out.
That's poker.

JJ loses a lot of the time. It’s tempting but a cruel mistress unfortunately.

JJ is the best of the middle range pairs, meaning, if ppl are shoving marginal hands against you, it's the best of the middle hands to have. Depends on who you're playing against.

Yea JJ is great to go all in if you are a short stack. Going all in is going to depend on your stack size not your cards.

A good rule of thumb is that if you raise all-in, some clown will call with ace rag and flop an ace or even worse river you.

Jacks are a good hand heads-up.

Damn jacks — they look strong but always lose in all-ins, and every time I fall for that crap.

depends on stack sizes and your opponent. Short-stacked or for calling shoves from maniacs they work pretty well. Open-shoving them deep-stacked is a bad idea (open-shoving anything deep-stack is a bad idea) and in general avoid re-raising them deep-stacked to the point where you get all-in. Jacks are not kings and not even queens and can get easily outdrawn by stronger hands, especially considering that they block two jacks, effectively halving possible JXs and AJo combos on your opponent's range.

Depends on the situation. When your stack is smaller than average, I think it's fine. When it's above average, it can be too risky.

Depends on the effective stack size, positions of players involved, previous action and the level of risk aversion.

There are situations where JJ is a must shove (stack size matters here).

There is a saying that you always play JJ in the wrong way, regardless if you limp, open raise, or shove AI.
