Basically stick to games that are 1-2% of your total bankroll, until you have a better grasp on the game and how to avoid tilting away your money. Look at the courses on this website, learn more about the game, and take steps to understand and find peace in that you are just going to lose a lot of the time. It's poker.

100 buy-ins. That's the target bankroll. You have less - lower the stakes. You have more than 100 buy-ins for some higher stakes? Move up.

Also, losing to bad beats is normal in MTTs, because coolers are just those hands you simply bust against (if you have a good enough hand yourself of course and bet appropriately, otherwise you have to work on pot control). Also start sizing your bets smaller and try to avoid confrontations with medium and big stacks when there is less than 50% of the field left, it will protect you from busting too much before cashing and between the payout levels.

Best advice is just to play freerolls or use only the money from freerolls till you build a brankroll of 100-150$. Never use your own money and just play smaller tournaments. For example on GG you have 0.25$ tournaments every 2 hours and as long as you have nothing else in your life then poker this is the safest way. If you are poker addicted, have no family and you are on the edge of "get rich or die trying", then just work somewhere, take this daily money and go playing on casino till you get broke and learn from that :D

Managing your bankroll effectively is key to long-term success
Bet the same amount every time (a fixed percentage of your bankroll). This keeps the risk constant and prevents large fluctuations.
Increase or decrease the amount you bet based on how well your bankroll is doing. For example, if your bankroll increases, you could bet slightly more, but if it decreases, you bet less.

Try taking your chances at the PLO or Holden Texas cash game tables. Take your chances in bounty tournaments, and if you lose, you can win some money by eliminating others. Try tournaments worth up to $15 without bounty in WPT and reach the top positions and win good money. I'm on the same quest in the WPT with a little bit of money to find the grand prize. Good luck and see you at the tables!

tournaments with the Chinese currencyň have good entry prices and I also have the feeling that fewer players register to participate!

I love playing spin with 3 players in WPT, the multiplication of values on the roulette wheel is great and the players are very courageous and recreational!

...the basic rule is to play buy-ins 100x smaller than your bankroll... however, I suggest you look at your level and compare it to the field you are playing in... if necessary, study more, there are some very good materials in this community... play the freerolls and participate in the summer league... then go back to playing using your bankroll...

No one scammed you, it's just variance. There's a lot of ups and downs in poker, even if you're a winning player over the long term.

The 100 buy-ins for whatever level you're playing is a good starting point, but if you're a losing player no amount of buy ins will protect you from your eventual fate.

Start playing at a low stake, figure out your baseline ROI and find where you're competitive and go from there.

One of the best tip is that if that there are a lot of bad beat you need to take a little break, and them continue.

Some good advice above - stick to the 1% of bankroll guidance, build up a bankroll using freerolls and accept that variance will give you downswings as well as winning streaks. Don't overcelebrate the wins or get too down about the losses - and only play with what you can afford to lose. For the majority of us, this should be a hobby to be enjoyed.

This is your poker safety net. You should have money separately for living and separately for poker.Even if you play twice a month, firstly, it is more convenient to always have money on hand for the game, rather than depositing it periodically, and secondly, over time you can begin to treat poker not as an amateur. And then the established habit of managing your bankroll will bring you many benefits. You don't have to put a significant portion of your bankroll on the line, much less all of it.Therefore, it is vital that you are prepared and able to withstand such setbacks without your game deteriorating or slowing down. When poker is your main source of income, being reckless with your bankroll management and getting into a serious drawdown will really put you in trouble.

Lack of bankroll management is always expensive. Without bankroll management, 99% of players are doomed to lose. If you understand this, you should define your own bankroll management system and always stick to it. Discipline should come first if you want to become a money-making player.

Play so that your bankroll is enough for 100 buyins, something like that

The 1% of your BR rule is a fine start.

Another good tip is make an Excel (LibreOffice Calc, Google Docs calc) sheet where you write down every single tournament (buy in, date, tournament name and the price won) even for those you don´t cash any money.
There you can see also how big the influence of variance is.

I would recommend playing only tournaments with no more than a thousand players.

Vice has to play the micro tournaments, start with the 1 dollar tournaments and then when you are making a profit in these tournaments increase to the 2.20 tournaments

If you have only played on WPT Global for one month, then you have surely not played enough to overcome variance especially not in MTTs. You won two tournaments, because you got lucky, but then your luck ran out, and now you are losing. This is completely normal and not a "scam". So first of all you need to educate yourself about the mathematical phenomenon known as variance. These free variance calculators are a good place to start:

Next step is to make a realistic plan, if you want to become a "for profit" player. And that plan should include largely avoiding MTTs, until you have something like a $500 bankroll. Until then you should play either cash games or SnGs, because these are lower variance formats, and they are also more flexible allowing you to put in more volume.

You can play a few MTTs in the weekend, if you want to, but your main focus should be on the daily grind in either cash games or SnGs. And then you should start with a reasonable deposit like $100 and implement some bankroll management rules. There are many opinions about, exactly which numbers are best, and there is no deeper science to this, but my suggestion for micro and low stakes are:

Cash games: 30 BIs
Single table SnGs: 50 BIs
MTTs: 100 BIs

So for cash games, if the limits are 2NL, 5NL, 10NL and 25NL, then you play the following stakes (or lower):

<$150: 2NL
$150-300 5NL
$300-750 10NL
>$750 25NL

For SnGs if the limits are $1, $2, $5, $10 and $25, then you play the following stakes (or lower):

<$100: $1 games
$100-250: $2 games
$250-500: $5 games
$500-1.250: $10 games
>$1.250: $25 games

Especially with SnGs it is reasonable to mix up limits and jump into some cheaper games rather than wait for the next more expensive one to start. So for instance if you have $275 in your bankroll, its perfectly fine to still play a lot of $2 games, but you are "allowed" to mix in some $5 games as well, if you want to. Once you have $500, you can consider moving to MTTs or at least increase the amount of time, you put into MTTs. Best of luck.
