How to make yourself a disciplined player

Hello, I am not new to poker, but finding hard to play disciplined and show that to the table, whereas couple of years ago I was very much so. What could have happened to let my play change so much?

I think we lose patience when game after game we see outrageous things happen. It's hard to accept that being a lucky louie isn't actually a legitimate playing style.

I guess it was influenced by players who bet too much on any two cards and even everything and which is very interesting they often get. Often when we think that we are following them, and we do not, we would get that hand, and when we follow we most often lose. Sometimes one gets the impression that lottery and luck are dominant, that is, it does not matter with which cards we enter the game. Those are my assumptions but you have to play from positions and with strong cards.

I should also switch gears to develop solid play on key tournaments that may as well boost my morale and keep me more "atuned" to the zone feeling for something beneficial more complex but worth it a try. Very interesting perspective thanks for sharing. Good luck 👍

Just force you to play as you think is disciplined. It only depends on you. If you think "I shouldn't do this", then don't 😅
Keep studying about strategy and management and you'll be able to do it.

If your bankroll is from a joint account with your wife, have her sit beside you when you play...you will stop making stupid plays, or you will never hear the end of it...LOL

That's what happened to me too. Once you get used to it, it becomes easy. First of all, I think 90% of players who can't make money are suffering from this problem.

For one thing, poker lacks strong sychology. I also make a mistake in many cases of being undisciplined.

Strict bankroll management is the alpha and the Omega when you play poker imo . Destroying your bankroll due to tilt is the first thing you happen . You must be disciplined with games of chance or else you will load a lot of money
