Hi CardChat family! 🙌

We've all been there...
That moment when you go all-in with KK and someone calls 7 ♣ 5 ♣ ... and of course the board ends giving them a street. 🤯

Honestly, sometimes after a few failures, I feel like tilt is building up inside. Reason says, “Keep calm, deviations happen.” But emotions scream, “Why is it always me?!” 😂

I was wondering... How do YOU deal with tilt?

You're...

Take a break and move away from the table? 🚶

Switch to studying instead of playing games? 📚

Or maybe you keep persevering and hoping that math will eventually fix itself? 🎲

I'm trying to train my mood. I remind myself that poker is a marathon, not a sprint. One bad session doesn't define me. And frankly speaking, being part of this community also helps, because I see that I'm not alone in this fight against tilt. 💪

“Tilt is the real opponent. Conquer your emotions and you'll win the game.” 🧘

So what personal techniques do you have for controlling tilt? I'd love to borrow a little bit of your wisdom. 😉

There are actually many ways to deal with tilt but I think when you play poker long enough your mind will adjust and get used to those emotions.

This is a common question, the truth is you can't really avoid getting tilted, but you can respond to it in better ways. I've played poker for over 3years now and damn! It's still sucks when my opponent hit his/her one outer on the river, or losing with AA. But what I've realised is that you have to understand that it's part of the game, you know that rush feeling you get when you crack Aces with your flush etc, it's just like that. You have to embrace it all, the good and the bad. When you feel it's unfair or you're unlucky, take a walk, don't rush into a rebuy because you're still emotional and might just dust it off

I like to take a quick break, having a smoke and walking my dog to calm down and then continue playing with a cool head.

Tilt is the part of the game, you have to learn to get over a losing game in the shortest possible time. Without this you can not improve.

. I don't suffer from tilt nowadays . That belongs to the past . Now I am calmed when I play . If a very bad beats or crazy result so happen , I might call ot a day , or even don't play gor one two more days , it depends on how much it annoyed me
