I recommend that you read books. There you will find theories that will open your mind. Otherwise, look for some kind of coach, that will help you make the path easier, although it all depends on you.

As others have said, study is important. But to be honest practice is even more important. So for anyone, who are serious about online poker, I will always recommend to deposit $50-100 and then start to grind away at 2NL cash tables. I am mostly playing tournaments these days, but I still think, cash games are the best way to learn the game, because you only need to focus on playing each hand well, and you get to see far more turns and rivers with more stack depth behind.

Study, study and more study. And of course a lot of grinding in the tables to also get the experience

#1 way to get better at online poker is to use a poker tracker. It is the data by which you will learn what your weaknesses are and the weaknesses of your player pool. You can then study to fix your leaks and exploit your villains.

Welcome! Great to have you here!
Since you're starting out and want to improve in online poker, here are a few tips that really helped me when I was in your shoes:

1. Start with freerolls – They're a great way to learn without risking your money.

2. Focus on position – Playing in late position gives you more information and control.

3. Play tight and aggressive – Don’t play too many hands, and when you do, play them with confidence.

4. Review your hands – After each session, go back and look at the key hands you played (even the ones you won).

5. Learn basic odds and ranges – Nothing too advanced at first, just enough to understand value and common spots.

6. Use tools and forums – The CardsChat community and learning resources (like the 30-Day Course) are gold.

Most of all, stay patient and be kind to yourself during the ups and downs. Improvement takes time, but every session is a step forward. Good luck on your journey!
