I was reading @airwalker ´s thread about call or fold and saw many people saying easy fold... that made me think, is there a hard fold?

I think folding is always easy, you avoid all risks, even if you have AA there is a chance to lose. Folding there is 0% chance of loosing, you are not platying and o% chance of winning too, but folding is always the easiest way of not loosing.

what are your thoughts about that?

Is it easy for you to fold AA?
If so, then I think you are a unique player.
Of course, there are different situations, and sometimes everything is so obvious that folding AA is really easy, but there are situations when such a fold requires determination and willpower.

Most people play poker to win not to avoid losing, which is also the right mindset to have. And for that reason it is difficult to fold a strong hand, even when our intuition tell us, we are likely to be beat.

It depends on the situation and the form of development on the streets, from preflop to River, we always want to win but often we have to keep our eyes wide open, bet preflop, it has, River, and above all kinds of rivals we face, or for example in the bubble I prefer to charge but I have seen that many professionals recommend going for everything! salutes

You can win a big pot when your hand is strong. Many players are waiting for a good hand. You played perfectly, put a lot of chips in the center of the table, everything went according to plan, but in the last streets a dangerous card arrives and the situation has changed in favor of your opponent. Then it's time for a hard fold.

I’m definitely not folding AA or KK in that spot, but AQ is generally a fold for me in this spot, 5 to the money. It all depends on the tournament for me, if it’s a big payout and it really means something to get paid then it’s a real easy fold. If it’s a home game and it’s mostly for fun I could see me calling here.
