Discipline and Bankroll

There is one thing that I had a hard time starting out in poker because it was keeping within my bankroll. Often the temptation to level up quickly seemed stronger than the discipline.
I understood over time that what really makes the difference is consistency and risk management, rather than a single 'stroke of luck'.

How do you handle this temptation to raise stakes ahead of time?

Raising the bet does not mean increasing the profit, but rather the opposite. It is better to play on something that you are not afraid to lose

First, you need to beat the limits, meaning go into profit, and only then start raising them. At higher limits, the big players will take your dollars.
