We wanted to provide community members with new ways of learning and discussing poker strategy. So we decided to start CardsChat Learning Poker Thread Series! In these series we will help you take deeper dives into poker strategies, including how-to-play variants series, and other poker concepts. This thread will serve as a bookmark for all series. When a new thread or series is introduced, we will post a link here in a new post, and we will add it to a table of contents here in this first post. Make sure to subscribe to this thread so you don't miss a thing!

In addition to our thread learning series, we will also be running a series of weekly or bi-weekly quizzes (time frame between quizzes may vary). The goal will be to have the quizzes go along with our thread series, though again, quiz topics may vary.

Pot Limit Omaha Series:
Managing Your Stack in a MTT
Popular Poker Tournament Formats
Studying Poker
Seven Card Stud and Razz

Miscellaneous Topics

Quizzes

Let us know your thoughts! Use this thread to ask questions, make topic requests, or give overall feedback about these threads. We ask that you keep the discussion of topics to the specific threads listed above. We hope you enjoy these series and find them useful!

This is amazing! Maybe read 1 article a week at least! This would really up my game. I haven't really find my game even after years of trying. Very slow-learner I am.

Thank you for sharing such high-quality content in this thread. It’s incredibly well-organized and full of valuable material for players at all levels.

I really appreciate the effort put into making learning more accessible and structured — this kind of content makes a real difference. Looking forward to diving deeper into the topics and improving step by step.

Consult you don't have in mind to publish a course similar to the 30-day course for advanced levels to reach levels suitable for being a professional player.

Dara O'Kearney is one of the best satelites player. In this thread, Dara shares knowledge and experience that will significantly improve your satellite game. I highly recommend to read it.

I think time management is very important, since time is the most valuable resource we have. We must know how to manage that time and have some kind of plan. How much time do we spend on theory and how much on practice?
