I think i researched this some time ago and Linux is not usable for online poker. Maybe works for beta browser sites like for example Re.... ah im not even going to start again 😅Chromebook does not allow downloads except through the play store so check if they have a wptglobal app there,
there is a way to download by installing linux but most Chromebooks don't have
the Ram to run poker sites anyway so it's generally a waste of time...
Well talking about Windows, u can download and install most pokersoftwares on laptops with as low as 4gb ram but u wont be able to play many tables or even load the software in some rare cases.... the problem is most poker apps need at least 16 gb of ram and most versions of chromebooks
generally have only 4 or 8 gb of ram which is why they're so inexpensive.... so they just don't
have enough ram to run poker sites, next time I upgrade I'm going back to an hp👍
yeah that's true for windows but this is chromebook, you first have to install linux to be able to install the poker site,Well talking about Windows, u can download and install most pokersoftwares on laptops with as low as 4gb ram but u wont be able to play many tables or even load the software in some rare cases.
With 8 gb ram u should be already able to play 4-6 tables on most sites without much lag.
If u want to play more and maybe also run Trackers and/or watch stuff then yes go for 16gb (which i did) or even better: 32gb (which i will).
Ok. Only linux possible to install? Thought they run with Android after reading ur first post itt where u mentioned play store. But im a total noob and never had one.yeah that's true for windows but this is chromebook, you first have to install linux to be able to install the poker site,
linux takes up more than half of the available ram already, then you have to install the poker site after that,
so you are going to need a lot more ram or it just can't run the poker sites.... I have 4gb on my
chromebook, I'm using 0.86gb, if I install linux that doubles, then I install a poker site🤢...
chromebooks are fine for most people but for poker players they're frustrating lol
yeah if there's a play store app it will run most of them... but even some of them are not supported,Ok. Only linux possible to install? Thought they run with Android after reading ur first post itt where u mentioned play store. But im a total noob and never had one.
