On the GG Poker system, many players often notice that decisive cards tend to appear on the river, the final card of the hand. This phenomenon can be explained from both technical and psychological perspectives. Technically, GG Poker hosts an enormous number of players, with countless hands being dealt every second using algorithms designed to ensure randomness. With such a high volume of games, the probability of “dramatic” outcomes naturally increases, making it seem like the river frequently delivers game-changing cards. From a psychological standpoint, players tend to remember painful losses on the river far more vividly than straightforward wins, which reinforces the impression that the river is always decisive. Furthermore, some argue that the system might be designed to enhance drama, encouraging more excitement and engagement, which keeps players at the tables longer. While there is no absolute proof that the algorithm is manipulated, the combination of natural probability, psychological bias, and possible engagement mechanics makes the river stand out as the most intense and memorable stage of the game on GG Poker.

What do you think about the river leaves in GG?

The software is closely related to RNG and if you noticed when there are three, four players in the pot each has at least one card in the usual way with the flop. This indicates that somewhere the programmers who made the algorithm etc have managed on some sites to bring on TURN and RIVER cards that are closely related to your hand! Only live poker can provide certainty that there is no one behind...

Since the invention of online poker more than 20 years ago, people have been saying this about every single site, that has ever been. This post belong in the Rigged Megathread.

GG compared to every other site I've played on has riveted the other player 2 outers.

I don't know how it happens, but in 80 of my cases the river is unfavorable. If they had the perfect algorithm, the percentage would definitely be about half, plus or minus a few percent. That's why I'm firmly convinced that there are definitely bots among the players.

I guess this simply happens at every and any poker site you play. I've experienced this in pokerstars, WPT Global, CoinPoker and 888Poker.
I also find it very hard to believe that poker online is legit, but its sadly all we have right now. I try to convince myself that its a system flaw rather than a scam. But its also undeniable that cheaters exists and they are playing right now as we speak, including bot rings that are a real thing.

So I guess we're all risking ourselves at our own expenses when we play poker online. I never make deposits, just play with what I can get from freerolls.

To much faith into such a flawed system to make real deposits...

I just want to hear more people's opinions on this issue. I think the poker Apps actually do this on the river on purpose to make the game more interesting.

No they dont. They would have nothing from it but a bad image and leaving customers. Those who agree with you on that built their opinion by oberserving low samples of hands where they mostly ran bad.

I'm not talking about winning or losing, I mean they design the river as the deciding card to create emotions for the player, whether you are a winner or a loser, the river deciding it will create a lot of emotions

Do we know the algorithms they use?
There is no full transparency.
They have to keep the fish in the system so they have to win on the river.
No skill helps you there.
Can you even believe if they would show the shuffled deck after you lost?

It is what it is. I don't think that the sites are rigged, but I think the cards are not fully random, there are some setups hands and some weird juicy turn cards to make the game more exciting, the same with the river card. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes others do. Take it or leave it.

Plenty of random bad beats recently on all sites, can’t imagine it would be like that live.

How can you not be talking about winning or losing.....if 2 people are in the hand then there will almost always be a winner or a loser!!

Sounds like a great business plan, piss off all their customers on purpose by manipulating their emotions until they stop playing

I don´t get it, if you say the cards are not fully random, the site is rigged.
