Speaking about slot machines, it is noticeable that many people have as a decisive factor that lucky number, emblem or some moment in which they think they were lucky in that sense.

Why do so many people believe in casino superstitions like “lucky number” or “hot machine”?

Here in brazil, there has been very high growth in sports betting in recent years. I believe the same has happened in the rest of the world.
What do you think is more addictive: slots or sports betting?

What do you think is more addictive: slots or sports betting?

Superstition has always existed whether in regard to gambling or to many other aspects of life in general. But in particular, most gamblers have some sort of superstitious belief even if a lot of them wouldn't admit it.

Slots or sports betting?
Those 2 activities attract different "crowds". In general, older ladies for Slots and mostly men for sports betting, the addiction is probably the same. The only noticeable difference is that Slots require a trip, and the addiction starts taking its toll once the player is sitting in front of the machine while sports betting is nowadays just a phone call away.
And that brings another question: Which of those addictions is more dangerous?
