GGPoker its the best because they have the more people and the best prices, but i recommend if you just started playing this game to use platforms that have not so many players playing. Play tournaments that have 100-200 people in and reach finals tables there, on GG its not that easy!

By a long way too. Yesterday gg had close to 200k online while Stars had less than 10k. The fall from grace has been massive

Some are best for this, and others are best for that. So try them out for yourself and select the one(s), which suits your needs and tastes best. If I am to give one general advice, then stick to reputable sites, that have been around for many years. Better safe than sorry.
