I’ve noticed that when I play very long sessions, my focus starts to drop and I make more mistakes. Even if I’m winning, I sometimes push myself too far and end up giving chips back.

Now I try to keep my sessions shorter and stop when I feel tired. For me, quality of play is more important than the number of hours.

Yeah I feel the same. When I play too long I just get tired and start messing up. It sucks when I win for hours then lose it back cuz I didn’t stop. Now I try not to play crazy long and just quit when I’m bored or tired.

Good point. I also noticed that tiredness can cost more than a bad beat. Taking breaks really helps to stay sharp and make better decisions.

For me, it’s also about discipline. It’s easy to keep playing when things are going well, but knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing when to call or fold. I’ve been trying to set a maximum time for each session, and it makes me more consistent in the long run.

Well done, is important to play within your limits.
Have you experienced better results since then?

Yeah, I’ve noticed my results are more stable since I started sticking to my limits. It feels less stressful too, which makes the game more enjoyable for me.
