Honestly, I don't really have a "lucky" item. I try to rely on skill, focus, and reading the table. But if I had to pick something, maybe my lucky coffee mug-just because sipping from it somehow keeps me calm and sharp during long sessions.

So what is your lucky item when playing poker?

I don't think any object can influence the outcome of any game.
When playing poker, I only use one of my chips as a card protector. But once, I used a nice crystal piece instead because it was given to me as a luck booster. After a week or so, and since nothing has changed ofc, I put the freaking thing on the TV.

I’ve seen it all at the tables—lucky coins, even a guy who always put a rubber duck next to his chips. Personally, I don’t really believe in luck, but I get why people do it—it gives them comfort and a little extra confidence. If I had to pick a “lucky” item, it’d be a simple card protector. Not because it’s magic, but because it keeps me grounded, reminds me to protect my hand, and sort of becomes my ritual.

In January 2021 at a ladies tournament at the Filotimo (now Revo) casino in Manchester, NH one of the other women gave each of us one of these little Kinder chocolate eggs. Inside of them were little snap together animal figurines. The one I received is this little wolf who I named Filotima after the casino. For most of my tourneys and cash games since then she has been perched atop my chips to protect them from predators. I don't know how much of a good luck charm she is, but she is an excellent conversation starter.

My lucky charm is not on the table. For truly special occasions, where I could use some divine assistance, I wear my Michael Jordan boxer briefs...the first time was for an exam to get a promotion at work...I got it, so I continued to wear them. I wore them for day one of the 2019 wsop Colossus...I made it to day 2 and cashed.

I don’t really have a traditional lucky charm. Before sitting down at a poker table, I always shuffle the deck in my hands for a moment, even if the dealer has already done it. I also tend to wear the same watch whenever I play. It’s nothing fancy, but it feels like a constant in an unpredictable game.

For me, my lucky draw is to focus on my game. Knows math, reads opponents, gives me all the confidence I need. All I could do was get a chip out of my pile of chips and put it on my card. Guarantee their safety, that's all.

I have an old metal WSOP commemorative chip, I use it as a chip protector and a lucky chip in real life.
I don't use anything online.
