Got everyone surprised. (Note: This hand was played in an online tournament!)

In this thread I want to share with you one of the funniest hands I ever participated in. Here is the story:
Last night I found myself in a four-way pot that turned into one of the more peculiar hands I’ve played in recent memory.
I opened up with
Flop comes dry, one heart, not really a pot to bet—just one of those boards that screams caution. Surprisingly, it checked around. No one wanted to stir the pot just yet.
Turn brings life: a fourth heart hits the board, giving me a flush draw. I saw an opportunity to apply some pressure and fired 4.7BB. To my surprise, everyone called. Now the pot’s bloated, tension rising, and I’m hoping for that river magic.
River bricks—no heart, no help. We all check through.
And then comes the twist: BTN flips over three of a kind.
No protection, no aggression, just a flat call on the turn with a made set. In a four-way pot. After a bet and two calls. 🤯
It’s one of those plays that makes you pause and reassess your assumptions. Was it a trap? Was it fear of a flush? Or just a passive line that paid off?
Either way, it was a reminder that not all monsters come out roaring—some just lurk quietly and let you hang yourself.
Curious to hear your thoughts: how would you have played this from BTN’s perspective? And was my turn bet the right move given the dynamics?
