That's great, I've never thought of changing mine, now I'll look for that in 888

I've never played more than home games in gg, but it seems 888 has a lot of fishes, so the field is easier than at least pokerstars.

Which aligns to one of Little's advices: find a game you can beat and invest in it.

I don't really understand why this is necessary and why it might be important. I think your results depend primarily on your game, your patience, and your discipline, not on your ID or screen name :)

It's not important even a little. Opinion only on why it's offered. I'd say GG offers ID changes because it makes the avg rec( away less knowledgeable) player think it evens things out a bit and the regs won't know them or how they play. When in fact it really does nothing the regs know and a simple ID change ain't fooling them as GG will even show their old ID's or so I've been told(pretty sure I've seen it posted on these forums). I'm someone will be along to confirm this.

Cheers!!!

Yup If you click on a user's name you can see the ID history of all names they used to have

For me it's an insignificant change. I believe that the Regs make their notes based on a relevant number of hands played. Nowadays I play very little...

Its ok, that they allow this, especially since they dont allow the use of trackers anyway. So its not like, someone can now have a big sample on their opponents but "hide" behind a new user name themselfes. But that being said I agree with those, who dont really understand the need to change your user name. I mean... if you were really drunk, when you created it, and picked a name like "BON1nGYOUrMaM" or "T1LtedDonK3Y" then I can understand, why you might want to replace it with something more reasonable. But other than that if it was good, when you chose it, why not just keep it :)

Its not there for me. Wanted to change it to "20YearsWinningPlayer". But I'm actually very happy with my current username so no regrets 😀

How do i change ID?
I picked up the first wierd random name I could. didnt like it. Then I was glad to have received a notification that I could change my ID. Just head over to the profile and check if it allows you to change your ID.
