I wanna know if there are some people who also mostly lose in a winning situation at the river card or if it's just me. I very often lose with the last card, having a straight or three of a kind while opponents hitting with the river a full house or flush. Happened to me, yes, more than once.

This is how your memory works. When you win, you think this is the norm, and your memory does not remember this. Losses are remembered. In fact, if you play in large reliable rooms, probability theory works.

Its part of the game to become mentally strong enough to ignore the outcome of past hands and instead always focus on playing the next hand the best, we can. Then after the session we can review the big pots, we lost, and see, if we were just unlucky, or if maybe there was something, we could have done better. The hand analysis section is an opportunity to get the opinion of other forum members, and I encourage you to use it.

It is variance, lately when I go all in pre flop with my AA or KK I end up losing 99% of the time. I don't have a huge amount of experience but I do have enough to have experienced the ups and down playing cards. It will pass just hang in there.

It happens all the time, and have lost and won many times by the river card
Sometimes I can have a good run and end up bubbling, it happens...

There are days when this happens to me, several times at other times, but I think it's part of the game and luck.

Hello and welcome to the Cardschat :)
Yes, sometimes I feel as if poker is pushing me away and suggesting that I should leave the table and the room.
In general, the best or correct decision in this situation is to stop playing until another time.

I'll ignore these rivers. A lot of my good flops died on the river.

lol, I feel you 😅. Sometimes it feels like the river has a personal grudge! But honestly, it’s just variance, even the best players get rivered. The key is to stay patient and focus on making +EV decisions; the cards will even out over time.
