Sometimes you play well, stay focused, make smart decisions — and you still lose. It seems that poker is not about honesty, but endurance. Have you ever felt that the game was too hard?

Ey buddy, feels like you're tilted on the game that its "not about honesty, but endurance"?
Sometimes you play well, stay focused, make smart decisions — and you still lose.
I can't help but think that you probably have not accepted the game as gambling.

The game is not hard, its a game of chance. Does not totally matter how skilled or good you play the game, at the end, are you unlucky to be busted in the river or lucky with the breaks of the game to win. :) When u accept the game, then u don't get tilted.

I agree that poker can feel cruel at times, especially when you play well and keep getting busted in bad beat situations, but at the end of the day sometimes you will also bust another player in a bad beat situation for them. That is just part of the game of poker.

The online one is definitely always cruel, because in almost any session you have the chance to encounter incredible situations. That's why I think the adrenaline is much higher, which makes it a suspenseful game in my opinion.

Absolutely cruel. Because it's programmed that way.
On line poker that is.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Sometimes it feels like everything is done perfectly, yet luck doesn’t favor us. But maybe that’s the real beauty of poker — it’s a test of patience and mental strength.

Yes, poker can be brutal. It is a game that requires skill and the ability to cope with emotional stress, as losses can be significant and luck plays a significant role, even for experienced players.Poker is at that stage of its development where it is impossible to play in the black, develop, and grow in limits without many years of experience of playing consistently in the black!

Oh yes poker can feel very cruel. In a recent hand I had pocket aces, bet and called by pocket jacks, the flop brought a Jack, the turn an ace the river the fourth Jack. A roller coaster of emotion , and a very cruel indeed.

Yes, sometimes I had that feeling. Especially when I played for more than 6 hours. It's a really difficult task to play concentrated for more than 5-6 hours. In my opinion, it is very important to take into account your condition and take breaks.

The game's not hard...sometimes the results are. Is the game cruel? No. There's no intent to hurt or damage anyone. Skill is valuable up to a degree, but luck is also such an important part of the game. This means that your most needed skill is bankroll management...the ability to survive the ups and downs, and still have enough to play another day. Too many players think that poker is their Holy Grail...the problem is that only a small percentage turn a profit consistently, and very very few can earn a living playing poker........Soooo, lay back and relax...enjoy poker for what it is...a game...one that involves luck, skill and intrigue.

Yeah, sometimes it does. You can make all the right decisions and still lose — that messes with your head. But I think that’s also what makes the game so real. It teaches patience, resilience, and how to focus on the long run, not just the outcome.

In such situations, those players who adhere to bankroll management will be safe. Poker is about discipline and patience, if you have them, you will have skill and experience and endurance and money :)

Let me explain my day so far…

Playing the Triple Ups on ignition, my go to game.

Game 1 - card dead pretty much the entire time; don’t win a single hand and bust in 6th. It happens…no big deal.

Game 2 - AA on the first had. I raise a limper. Button reraises me. I go all-in. He calls and shows KK. Flop and turn are clean. River is a K.

Game 3 - Down to 5 players; 1 big stack and 4 of us pretty even, with 10-15 BB’s left. I raise on button with JJ; BB shoves (I have him covered) - I call. He has A 10o. Ace on the turn and I am crippled, but I am able to build back up to just under 10 BB. I jam with 77; Big Stack calls with AK suited (hearts). Flop is 5, 6, 8 one heart. Turn is 7 of hearts. River is Q of hearts.

I’m done for the day.

Poker is two parts : luck and skill , sometimes variance makes you lose and lose and lose but in the long period having the skills makes you a winning player

I lied...I played more today. 3 table SNG....not much going on; down to 20 players and I have 10 bb. Dealt JJ, so I jam. Called by AK. Ace on the flop....of course.

Later, back to a Triple Up. Dealt 33 very early. I raise 2.5 the BB. 3 Callers. Flop comes 3 4 J, two hearts. I bet half the pot to try to scare off any flushes. I get raised...I reraise all in, figuring a set of 3's is good....Nope...he turns over 44.

That actually left me with 30 chips. I "quadrupled' up to 120 with AK on the next hand....held on a few more until I got dealt A8s and went all in. 3 callers, so I could get back to close to 1/3 starting stack....Flop is Q78, two clubs. Turn is Ah, so I have two pair. Down to heads up against AK of clubs. You guessed it...clubs on the river.

So 5 games today....coolered in 4 of them.

Yes, poker is a game that you're going to lose almost everyday. Only if you play only one tournament a day and ended up winning that tournament, which does not happen that often, even if you are really good. So, you need to learn to lose and does not let those losses affect your mind. After so many years playing, I understand that there are days that no matter how well I play, I'll lose. so, I usually just give up and don't play on that day.

Иногда вы играете хорошо, сохраняете концентрацию, принимаете умные решения — и все равно проигрываете. Кажется, что покер — это не честность, а выносливость. Вы когда-нибудь чувствовали, что игра слишком сложна?
There are times when almost every hand goes around me, in a cottage with AA!!! And then he fell into Tilt a little bit!!!

poker is cruel, psychological, and incredible. And who said it would be easy, which is why only a few succeed and millions play
