There's a lot of poker discussion on social media about the optics of Tamayo going over hand historys on the rail during his heads up play in the wsop Main Event. What's your take on whether it was cheating?

I think this is a silly question, ...why does everything have to be cheating,

it was allowed out in the open so clearly not cheating....

The question is should it be allowed?, is it good for the game?, the answer is no!

I think it's a gray subject. But I agree with @MK_ .. Cheating? No. Should it be allowed? No. And it's definitely not good for the game. Feel free to go over hands during your breaks, but not in between hands at the rail.

I agree with MK & Mortis. I don't think it was cheating (because it is not against the rules), but I don't think it should be allowed.

The magic and fascination of poker is that disputes are between minds directly and without involving technology or any type of artificial consultation other than the brain itself and its neurons. If you change that, it's no longer a mental sport and you become something else, I don't know what.
