In my opinion, there are many reasons why we don’t see poker legends, first of all, it’s physical condition, the game takes a lot of strength and energy, and players have no time to stop because of tight tournament schedules, the second reason is when a smart player, having earned enough, understands that health is more important and there are other entertainments in life.

However, he was one of the first Germans to make a name for himself when he won his second career 1000 ITM in 2011, for $8.7 million in the World Series. Since then, he simply decided to retire. Yes, he plays live still but the media don't touch him with another player, Howard Lederer, who were in at the deep end of Black Friday with FTP.

I love Jen Harman. She's a great player and really nice person who overcame diversity and significant health issues playing a man's game in a man's world. I just checked her X account. Her latest post was 2 years ago. Not sure where she's at these days but I wish her well. She was definitely a role model for me growing up as a wannabe poker pro.
