to Claim his first green jacket
After almost bottling it by blowing a 5 shot lead with a boogey on the 18th missing a 4ft putt to win it without the play-off

I was watching the Blujays baseball game so I recorded the golf and after watching Rory bogey the 18th, I decided it was time for bed and I would watch the playoff tomorrow. I guess I will still watch it.👍

Hi All,
seeing as the spoiler alert is out, i am free to just say this.
The romance, the rollercoaster, the EPIC got put back in golf last night. Like many Rory fans around the world, I have suffered for 14 years.
Last night was pure redemption for a guy who has stuck to his principles, divided opinion and shown the world his amazing talent which rightfully, earns him a place as an all time great of the game.
How he managed to keep fighting back was testament to that prior suffering, he pulled out key clutch putts when needed but that approach to the final hole playoff at 18th will remain in my memory forever.
Word for Justin Rose - played incredible all week and 10 birdies in regulation yesterday was insane, he took defeat with grace and without doubt has got his Ryder Cup place booked now.
A European 1-2 at the US Masters has been a long time coming and these two heavyweights were immense.
Well done Rory - our suffering and more importantly, yours is over.
I have a strong feeling this wont be your last Masters win, the future is going to be scary now with that monkey off your back.

I really thought Justin would win the playoff because Rory would continue to miss putts over about 3 feet. I think if the putt on the playoff was just a little longer he would have missed it. I was glad Rory won but in this case I wished they could have handed out 2 green jackets. Justin also lost to Sergio in a playoff and I doubt he will get another chance
