When I was a young kid my friend had a poker set and we learned to play 5 card draw, it was a blast. Then as an adult I always had friends around that wanted to play all the different stud games. Then I played 7 Stud in casinos until it all turned to NLHE which I switched to because I thought it was easier lol. 24 years of hold em later I’m still trying to master it! Good luck!

In my 1st year of university I won a 6-player poker tournament in the dormitory (buy-in was $1). My friend wanted to win the money back and offered me to play heads-up with him for the entire winning pot. I agreed and beat him. As a result, I earned $11 in 1 hour of play. I liked it and started playing poker online at pokerstars. I never learned how to play poker, never read books or even watched YouTube videos.
