During the entire time I played cash games when this promotion was available, I performed it only a few times and received 5 or 50 cents for it. So I don't think it's very useful, but that's just for me, maybe it's important for you.

It's a GARBAGE promotion. Attempts to get player to play more hands ("I just need to play 45 hands!!"

888 needs to do something better to attract more customers. Stupid wheel spins to win nothing, ridiculous hyper turbo freerolls with thousands of players to maybe win pennies, 2 small Monthly Loyalty tournaments And one for $25k that they won't even tell you what you need to qualify for it????
Why not at least have a Daily Leaderboard rake race or something? Card Strike, LoL. Also, getting rid of SnG's in hopes of having even more fools play BLAST games. fwiw, I've checked out stats for BLAST players, even checking ones from previous HS Spin 'winning' regs. and they are a losing proposition. Total waste of money! This is an insult to poker players.

I have only won once, 2c.
It's not my favourite promo. You have to play a lot of hands. I also have some doubts about card manipulation, as I see statistically unlikely things happening frequently, and this promo plays right into that.

And what is the largest you've won? And how many hands played to obtain this?
My largest 'card strike' prize is $0.25 (I'm not sure how many hands I've played since they started this promotion... but it must me thousands as I play on 888 for fun at night)
I really wish they'd do more to promote their site. There's no reason they couldn't be more competitive with the other sites if they did a few things differently.

25 cents lol. i never hit it, played only a few hundred hands there lately on nl5 for the promo but i thought for sure the prize is at least a few dollars.

Ok, I have to necro this thread to ask - does anyone know if 888 shows you the correct amounts that other people win with card strike? Has anyone ever seen a friend win at their tables and, if so, confirmed with them that they did actually win a certain amount? I keep seeing people win a variety of different amounts but I always seem to get the same one.

No but what i understand is winning players always win the lowest possible amount, 1bb. Whereas bad players can receive bigger prizes. The prizes are not random.
