Yesterday happened something funny and good for me, it was my turn to put the big blind but my cards was 7-2 different colors, so I decided that if someone rise the bet I would fold, but luckily they only call and didn't rise, then at the flop I got a set of 2 and the final card was a 7 and I get the full house, I won about 3k(chips) that time :)

I remember in a live Mtt, an older lady, when it was her turn pushed her chips in front of the line to make room for her food. She claimed was an accident and not her intent to go allin and she only moved her chips to make room for her food.

The dealer ruled she was allin, and then the floor was called and confirmed the ruling.

Everyone thought she was weak and 2 players called her "allin".

She then flipped over the nut straight, which she had since the flop.

That kind of thing tends to happen. It's a matter of also playing with weaker hands (which aren't always weak, in reality), especially if you're the chip leader.

I danced all over them, haha.

I was at a card-club in Austin one night, playing in a $2K GTD NLHE trny. The house music is piped in using a Direct TV channel. It had to be '80's hits or something of that nature. Anyway, being a "gen-X-er" I'm familiar w/most of the tunes from that time.
So we're playing along when Human Leagues hit "Don't You Want Me Baby?" started playing. If you're not familiar w/the song, it's a hooky little synth number with catchy up-beat vocals. Anyway, after the first verse ended and the chorus began about 6 of us started singing in unison, "Don't you want me baby..." Even the dealer was singing along. We all shared a nice laugh.
It was just one of those cool moments that happens only at live poker tables. Awesome thread! :)(y)

This wasn't a fun moment and was almost a disaster, but ended up okay. I was playing my second live tournament ever at Maryland Live shortly after it opened. I had made it to the final 10. We had two tables of five. I busted a guy, so my table broke to join the other table. The floor gave each of us our seat assignments. I was the chip leader at my table and had a bunch of chips, so I grabbed a rack from the floor, racked up and moved to the other table. As soon as I sat down, I looked back and saw a huge stack of about 20 chips sitting where I had been. I had forgotten to take the chips from the last hand I won. The dealer had stacked them up for me but in my nerves and excitement at making the final table, I just left them there. We were still getting organized, so I was able to run back over and snatch them up.

I can imagine the nerves in that situation. Thank you for your comment.
