My local Poker Club sends a player to the WSOP-ME every year (see posts 79 & 81 for details)

This year's attendee played on Day 1B and made it to day 2. I'll be rooting for him to make some $$$ to bring back to the club.

And our club keeps it's record intact of it's players busting on day 2 1st his KK busted by A3o and then ran QQ into AA on a Ten high board.

Looks like streaming is over actually. Assumed with feature tables and stuff they would do it, but it appears not.

I have watched a few of the final tables on the live streaming. Best two were The Players Championship and the Big One. Great viewing.

I see ESPN will only be showing - The Big Drop, The Player Championship and the Main Event - once again no other events , looks like the Hold 'Em world continues to dominate

Can't really blame them for showing mostly nlhe - that is what most of the world knows and understands so will watch.

And Yeaaaaaaa - my 2 girls are both still in.

Katie is fine with 121k - they are going back to 2k/4k with 500 antes. She is not desperate - the blind levels are 1 hour.

Jamie only has a bit over half that so she is looking for shove spots.

I think one of the guys in my local poker league is in it with 400k chips - will text him today to see if that is him. His name is James Keys - but I thought he left on the 5th.

Chaos on the floor and they have sent everyone on dinner break an hour earlier. No reports on what the issue is yet - though someone in Twitter said something about payout issues.

Cards are back in the air after an unscheduled early dinner break. Just before the break it looked like the WSOP staff was clamoring about trying to figure out if the payouts were correct. This caused a 20-minute delay in which the players were getting antsy while they waited for cards to be dealt.

Ultimately, it was decided that players would take their dinner break early while the staff figured out if there was a problem or not.

As Twitter exploded with a mass of players wondering what the problem was and how it could have happened, the WSOP issued this statement through Twitter:
WSOP @WSOP: “Erred on side of caution to triple check. We'll keep it moving towards $8.5mm when players return at 7:30 to resume play.”

As players began to file into the Amazon room, the tournament official announced that there were no issues with the payout, but they wanted to make sure. To ease tensions with the players, it was decided that there would only be two more levels in today’s play. Players will have this two-hour long level, a fifteen-minute break, and another two-hour level before the day is out.
Now that we have that all sorted out, lets get back to the action!

Vanessa Selbst sitting in 15th /282. And one of my fav's, 'Gavin Smith' has over 880k & is in ~ top 1/3 of remaining field.
I wish they were showing live-streaming of even just some random tables.
