WTG Antonio, I for one really like him. I like Trickett too though so would have been thrilled to see him win. And c'mon, $10M is nothing to cry over, I would consider that a win anyway.![]()
I assume both Antonio and Trickett did not put up the 1M themselves, so I wonder how much they'll actually get...
Another Antonio-liker here, too. I can't begin to imagine how he's feeling today.
For me I think it was listening to him doing commentary last year during wsop Live Stream. I like him & was cheering for him all along (next to Helmuth that is). Might also have something to do with not being able to stand Phil Laak.LOL @ Blue and his hatred of AE. Used to dislike him myself. Not sure what changed my mind. .
I am on my iPad so can't copy the thread link - but just posted a thread about Sam Trickett getting the shit beat out of him. Will someone who uses twitter find his tweet and link it in that thread for me?
He is @Samtrickett1 in twitter.
That looks really lame. Please post any updates as to cause.
I play with this guy all the time and I have a piece of his action in Event #59 which starts Day 2 today

When we reached the table, the board read {3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and there was about 35,000 in the middle. Roman Valerstein checked, and Zach Hall moved all in for effectively 58,000. Valerstein folded {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} face up and Hall showed {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.
"Wowwwwww," Valerstein blurted. "Why would you do that?"
Hall laughed, and raked in the pot, pushing his stack over 100,000 chips.
