Isn't anyone watching Event #52? Vanessa Selbst and Michael Salzman are all in as I write and Vanessa just took it down!!!!!!!!!

The ladies on the rail are going wild and so am I!!!!!!

Way to go, Vanessa!!!!!

This is wonderful!!!! Last woman to take down a wsop open event was Selbst in 2008 and she's done it again--the drought is OVER!!!!

Selbst took it down for the first bracelet for a woman in an open event since she did it last time in 2008. Vicky Coren sitting 4th of 28 in the $1,500 NLHE Event 53. 2 bracelets in 2 days for the women?

I've seen at least half the field play so far, and not one table shown is "full of unknowns." Not sure what you're definition of "unknown" is but this event is very top heavy with well-known poker pros, celebrities, and amateurs. I think maybe one was a businessman I hadn't heard of before. There may be a few relative unknowns but it's certainly not full of them. People who follow poker will know nearly all of them.

It's a live stream, their cameras are fixed on one table and get moved to other tables during breaks. This isn't like an ESPN broadcast where they have roving cameras, so they can't broadcast action as it happens on other tables.

Yeah, it happened just as I was writing "Isn't anyone watching Event #52?" I was blown away. :) They also decided to do the live interview right then, and took tons of photos of Vanessa and her rail (Maria Ho, Vanessa Rousso and Tiffany Michelle to name just a few) afterwards. What a moment that was--I felt like I was right there too!

The One Drop must be grabbing a huge online audience. I've been unable to bring up the video stream for the last half hour. :(

Nevermind... looks like the feed is just coming up now.

Yeah, it wasn't working for me either before. Now the stream seems really choppy, barely watchable.

Got it up (finally).

What a camera shot - Ivey and Helmuth side by side... Well not for long - Ivey is out.

That is crazy exciting it is so cool to be able to chat with such accomplished players.
Sounds kinda sappy but I really appreciate having access to a community that is so knowledgeable and accepting of folks that are at a different place in the learning curve.
Thanks.

Watched the One Drop to the end last night. Disappointed the Mike Sexton was the FT Bubble boy. Still took down 1.1 mil as a HORSE for 50%, so he pockets 500K+.

Helmuth and Antonio on the Final table with Antonio a cl .

These webcasts have gotten pretty damn good, with hole cams they would be stellar.

Poor Mike, he looked like he was going to cry at the end. He was the short stack but got up to 9M chips. He could have guaranteed himself a spot at the TV table.

I think he only gets 50% of the profit, which means 50k.

Final table is meh from a personal standpoint. No Dwan, no Ivey, no Galfond, no jeans...

Would be cool to see Trickett, Rast or Antonio take it down. Same goes for Guy. Just anyone but Hellmuth, he'd be even more unbearable than he is now. Find it funny that he said

I'm not afraid to win $18,500,000

Doubt he'll be seeing anything like $18.5m

I really hope a poker player wins and not a business man. Nothing against businessmen, but it would take a lot of $$ out of poker if they did.

They will have hole cards on the final table tonight of the One Drop which is airing live on ESPN from 8pm ET and on ESPN2 from 4 til 7.45 (Think that's all accurate). Rest of world viewers can watch on WSOP.com still and if you have ESPN in your country, good chance it will be on there from 8 ET. I know in England it's on from 1am on sky channel 417. Enjoy!
