I still think Daniel Negreanu is the best player, besides being a charismatic person.

In brazil, the best player at the moment is Yuri Martins Dzivielevski, better known online as theNERDguy.

Hard to name just one, but guys like Stephen Chidwick and Jason Koon are crushing high rollers consistently. If you factor in all-around skill, adaptability, and results, they’re right up there. Still, “best” depends on the format—live, online, MTTs, cash—it’s not one-size-fits-all.

The best professional poker player today is IMO very tough to pick and the answer will be subjective... I will still go with DNegs as he is around for so long and still has love for the game and still studies hard to improve his skills, also he battles successfully at all the buy-in levels(I think he has 2 or 3 titles won this year* high roller events- great preparation before wsop... Negreanu's WSOP vlogs are pretty amazing and definitely fun to watch ); overall, like him or not, Daniel Negreanu was/ is one of the best ambassadors for the game and he deserves our appreciation...
