I am motivated by money. For me, poker is a hobby that brings me additional income. It all started with a game for fun, but over time I realised that poker can also be a source of income, which is quite important to me.

I don't know about other players, but my main and only motivation is money. Yes, it's definitely good that poker is an opportunity to express yourself. I also like in poker the opportunity to dominate (for example, when I'm chip leader). It certainly boosts my mood.

Beyond the money for me is the complete challenge of winning poker tournaments. The thrill and passion of that chase for the win keeps me coming back to Vegas. The home games I play is strictly for fun, it’s with family and friends and it’s exciting to see my mother in law or father in law win with zero training, just playing their cards and having a good time. I'm not ashamed to say that I sometimes relax with some rare poker variant on pokerstars or Replay Poker with just Play Money.

When I play for real money, I multitable, table- and player-select, which takes a lot of concentration, and the grind is just not fun anymore.

It's also depressing to play from sweden with your own money (no matter the stakes) when you don't get any rakeback, bonuses, or freerolls from the sites.
