When I'm having a good period in poker, I start to play looser and because of this I often end the session with a small minus...

For me, poker is a job, so I treat it like a job, not missing important tournaments and filling the free time with cash games. Just like at work, I can take a day off/sick leave if I’m sick or under stress, because playing in such a state will only harm both my health and my wallet.

When I lose a lot of tournaments, I get angry and lose the rest of my money, I have to control my emotions.

If I am distracted, my play suffers. But, that being said, when I am distracted, I take a lot more chances, thinking, "I'm not long for this session, let it rip.." Sometimes, when I am pressed for time, taking stupid chances works, almost to spite me. This is true especially if it's a session that stretches into the late evening hours. Often end up killing myself/donating chips when it gets super late and I need sleep more than a little more BR.

I have this constant lack of sleep and little free time, often at the same time I have to have dinner, play poker, chat and watch a movie or sports, this interferes with my results.

Several factors can negatively affect a poker player's performance. Stress, lack of emotional control, and gambling addiction are some of the main factors that impair performance and can lead to poor decisions.

Strobe lighting is not a good effect while playing poker - not for more than 5 minutes anyway
