To accept something, you have to understand it... Sometimes it's worth stopping to analyze what's going on...

Are u sometimes tired to play Poker, cause you have a downswing? after weeks, month or years?
Hi :)
I've been playing poker for over 8 years, and in all this time, I've never been tired of the game. There were days when I could get tired playing for 6-8 hours in a row, but the next day I was happy to start a new game and new tournaments. I don't play as often as I'd like, so I guess in my case, there's no question of fatigue from the game.
Good luck :)

Yes, I got so tired of it that I quit in 2014.

Now, I rarely play for money, and if I do, I do something else on the computer at the same time.

No more grind for me.

All my favorite poker rooms have stopped working in my country, so I will have to take an indefinite break from the game.

I play in my spare time and when I can access the computer for an afternoon (share computer with my wife and Amazon !!!). When my son was young, we would have an "Electronics free Monday" a few times a month...that was more to get him off his Nintendo than me playing too much poker. In short, it is wise to play only when you are alert and ready mentally to play. If you are tired or hung over, that's not a good time to play poker.

Even professional players have been suspended for a while. Last time I was suspended for half a year.

Yes, downswings in poker can be mentally exhausting, but taking breaks, staying disciplined, and focusing on improving your game can help you recharge and bounce back stronger.

Am I tired of playing poker? Of course I am! Am I tired of getting money from poker? Of course not! :ROFLMAO: So at this stage of my life, poker is a pretty good source of income. But someday I'm really going to take a vacation for two weeks.

I think that every player has reached a saturation of playing poker once. It is important to reflect on the game then and find the key to move on or take a break from the game to recharge with the desire to play.

Usually after the weekend grind I’m exhausted on Monday so I always try and do something else fishing , a good walk or if the weather is bad gym and pool but u need to take a day of to just relaxe the mind , this is how I deal with things if it gets to much , but if im having a really bad session where nothing goes my way I often just close up shop and call it a day and try again tomorrow instead of just piling on more stress to a bad day

Absolutely, the swings are brutal. I just played the slots and won over $5000 in a couple hours of play. Never won that in poker ever. The beat downs in poker just kill me...losing on a river card just sucks. Seems to happening a lot. I am tired of it all right now..will I quit..not likely, but I will win my money on slots and not poker.

When you play poker for many hours every day, there comes a time when you get tired and need to take a break. That is why it is advisable to have short sessions, to take longer breaks.

Hi :)
I don't get tired of playing, but there are days when I'm not in the best mood and those are the days when I realise that I should just take a break.

You won't believe it, but there is life without poker. Moreover, a rest from poker is often good for poker itself.I don’t know about you, but after a long game (about 10 hours) and especially after the final tables when the tension increases, I feel some kind of psychological devastation, I get very tired, although some will say don’t rush, sitting on your ass and clicking the mouse doesn’t take much effort.

Stay focused, analyze your play objectively, and ensure that bad luck isn’t masking potential leaks in your strategy. Taking breaks, managing bankroll wisely, and keeping a long-term perspective can help motivation.

Feeling tired of poker during a downswing depends on the individual. Some players burn out after a few weeks, others after months or even years of struggling. The longer the downswing, the harder it becomes to stay motivated and emotionally stable. If losses pile up, frustration, self-doubt, and exhaustion set in. Some take a break to reset, while others push through, analyzing hands and improving. The key is knowing when to step back, re-evaluate your strategy, and maintain a healthy mindset to avoid complete burnout.
