No not really - Could be a mistake thinking the other players are weak and you are more skilled?
 Thing is - it may actually be the other way around
Good Luck, Gary. :geek:

For me, everything is the same. But this can depend on many other things, such as the room, time and buyin level you play at.

Maybe more ppl has more spare time and play... so it may be that the avg Q of players decay a bit this time

Yeah i think tables are softer when it's winter in Europe as the fish are playing poker instead of going outside. Christmas holidays should be softer still.

Maybe a few extra players around being basically the start of winter some only play in the winter months or players playing more because of winter plus some Xmas work bonuses being out and all. Not too much to get excited about thou it likely be short lived.

The softest tables the majority don't even play because they're full ring and everyone seems more worried about getting volume then playing soft competition. Been like this for a number of years now. Which is ironic considering they'd be playing more volume against tougher players by playing fast games and 6 max.

Cheers!!!

This guy gets it happens in everything played online. Some people take the summers mostly off to get outside, live life and do real life shit.

Cheers!!!

I always find the weaker ones at any table. But these fish beat me because the poker rooms want me to suffer. Even right now I lost with "AK" vs "AQ" in the CardsChat tournament at 888. So it doesn't matter to me how soft the table is.

Spot on about the seasonal influx of players. Winter months and those holiday bonuses definitely bring in a few extra, but as you said, it’s often short-lived. People get a bit more time off and the allure of some festive gambling likely draws them in, but it’s not sustainable for any real shifts in the player pool.

as others have posted , it's likely that non -regulars and some relative beginners are joining the action recently . colder weather and time off from work during the holiday season contribute to produce steadier , juicier ring games and tournaments !

If this is the case, then you are like someone who found a treasure of gold, but sometimes the rush is just a beautiful period that comes after a fair amount of play that makes any player feel special at the table.
Overall, good luck to you

If soft play is intentional to benefit some players, that in itself is reprehensible. When a player, for non-technical reasons, doesn't act aggressively in a hand, as if "softening" the hand for a familiar opponent, this can be considered unfair. Soft play is not normal in poker.
